Local Team John Apicella, SPPA John Apicella has been a licensed Public Adjuster since 1976. Prior to becoming a Public Adjuster John handled major property claims for 14 years as a Staff Adjuster for the Home Insurance Company, Allstate Insurance Company, and Leo Bronson, Inc., Independent Adjusters. John has been adjusting property claims since 1962. He was designated as a Senior Professional Public Adjuster, SPPA, by the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters in 1982. John has experience handling major claims throughout the United States and Caribbean, Including Hurricane Andrew in 1992, Hurricane Hugo in 1989 and all of the 2004 Florida Hurricanes. He is licensed in Connecticut, Florida, New York, West Virginia and Delaware. John is a Graduate of Notre Dame High School, and Fairfield University. John lives in Orange, Connecticut with his wife Linda. John@ApicellaAdjusters.com Mark Sandillo Mark Sandillo has been a licensed Public Adjuster since 1985. Mark has worked for the Policyholder on major claims throughout the United States, and Puerto Rico. Prior to becoming a Public Adjuster Mark was a United States Marine, and worked as a Heating and Cooling Contractor. He has extensive experience appraising, estimating and adjusting commercial and homeowner claims. A Member of the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters, Professional Business Associates, Milford Rotary Club, and the Orange Chamber of Commerce. Glynn, Associate Michael C. Glynn has been a Licensed Public Adjuster since 1995. Michael has a Construction background and is an expert in building estimating and documenting. He owned and operated a General Contracting Business specializing in Fire Restoration prior to becoming a Public Adjuster. He has experience adjusting property damage commercial and homeowner claims. Maria has extensive experience in adjusting all types of contents claims. She is responsible for all aspect of Homeowners personal property/contents claim detailing, and negotiating. Maria is in charge of customer service. She helps our clients through the traumatic experience of coping with major property loss. She is a graduate of Amity High School and Syracuse University and lives in Orange, Connecticut with her husband Mark and two children. Ladden has been an associate with our firm since 1982 when he became a licensed Public Adjuster. Prior to becoming a Public Adjuster he was an Independent Adjuster with Gordon Boyd & Co. (4 years), Vice President and Treasurer of the Dunn- Rite Construction Company, fire damage and remodeling contractors (5 years), and Manager of the General Adjustment Bureau (GAB), Independent Insurance Adjusters, Waterbury, Connecticut office (8 years). He has served as an appraiser for both insured and insurance companies, as well as an umpire for hundreds of cases. He has adjusted numerous catastrophe losses throughout the United States and the Caribbean. He is qualified as an expert witness before the Hartford, New Haven and Bridgeport Superior Courts in Connecticut, testifying regarding various property damage losses. He was President of the Connecticut Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (CAPIA) 1990-1991, and 1991-1992. He has participated annually from 1996-2001 in the State of Connecticut Insurance Department License Examination Review Committee. He is licensed in Connecticut and Florida. Ursaki has been an associate with our firm since 1994 when he became a licensed public adjuster. Prior to his association with our firm he was an insurance company adjuster for 14 years. He has served as an appraiser and as an umpire for hundreds of cases. He has adjusted numerous catastrophe losses throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Ken is licensed in Connecticut, West Virginia and Delaware. He lives in Burlington, Connecticut with his wife Lynn and their two daughters.
